At Getaway Coaches you will firstly get away from the rush of the old concrete jungle. We are situated on a farm only half an hour’s drive from Pretoria. When you drive into the premises, the trees and bush on the side of the road gives you that sigh of relieve. You are on a breakaway where you can just breathe in the fresh air.
Getaway Coaches is made up of old train trucks. The whole place will give you that sense of the good old days. For the older folk who grew up on the trains, it will be a trip down memory lane.
At Getaway Coaches we cater to your needs. Whatever your idea of a year-end function – themed or not-themed, elegant or just a lekker kuier – we will make it happen and make sure everyone has a great time. With our big premises with its outstretched lawn, we have enough space for more than 100 people. For those who don’t want to get behind the wheel after a jol, we have accommodation for more than 50 people.
With our nice fireplaces – inside and out –, not even a cold or rainy night can keep you from having a good time. With that we open the big stoep’s sliding windows and turn the lounge area into a dance area. For those who are not big on dancing, there is the bar. The unique thing about Getaway Coaches is that firstly our drinks prices are very affordable and the bar closes when the last person goes to sleep. Because Getaway Coaches is so secluded you don’t have to worry about waking the neighbours.
If you want more than just a party, we can even throw in an activity or two like horse riding or quad biking.
To end of the perfect party, we will spoil you with a good plate of food. You can choose from a range of delicious menus and we will prepare the food for you. These menus range from pasta’s to braais to potjiekos to spitbraais which we are really good at.
